The kingdom of Thailand consists of 76 provinces with Bangkok as its capital and largest city. With approximately 63 million people in the country, the population mainly comprise of ethnic Thais at 80%, followed by the Chinese and Malays. Official language is Thai though English is widely understood.

Thailand sits in the heart of Southeast Asia, where it shares land borders with Laos, Myanmar and Malaysia.

Often called the "Land of Smiles" the nation is well-known for its friendliness and hospitality. It is no wonder that Thailand is considered one of the top travelling destinations in the world. Its exotic culture, breathtaking natural wonders, flavourful cuisine and affordable shopping continues to draw tourists worldwide, near and far.
