Go on a walkabout in Australia, the world's smallest continent located on the southern hemisphere. It consists of a mainland, a major island of Tasmania and several smaller islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

The country is divided into six states namely, Western Australia, Tasmania, Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, with two major mainland territories, Northern Territory and Australia Capital Territory (ACT), where its capital city Canberra is located. The largest city in the country is Sydney.

Australia is known for its unique fauna like kangaroo, koala, wombat, kookaburra, emu and dingo living in this ecologically diverse country. Its indigenous population of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders makes up a small percentage of its general population of approximately 22 million people.

The enchanting culture of the Aborigines and the natural beauty of Australia continue to draw tourists from around the world.
