Your verified profile will help other Redsters feel comfortable reaching out to you and requesting you to be their host. Travel Hosts will also tend to favour potential guests who are already verified.

What are the benefits of verification?

• Potential hosts are more likely to offer you place to stay
• Potentials guests are more likely to request you as a host
• Your profile pops up higher in search results
• Other members have the option of searching for verified members only

Is verification mandatory?
Verification is a process that lets you confirm your identity and location within the community. This is an individual decision. Some people choose not to get verified while others choose to get verified. Everyone who signs up as a Travel Host is able to interact in the community whether or not they are verified.

How do I get verified?
Verification is an easy process. Click the button below to get started by making your payment through a secure credit card or prepaid card transaction. This step also authenticates your identity. Next we will send you a letter with a verification code to your postal address to confirm that it is accurate. When it arrives in the mail, simply enter your code on your My Travel section on the Me! page and that's it! You are now verified.

How it works?
Thumbs Up! is a way for other members to vouch for you. It's a way for them to say they trust you. It adds to your credibility as a Travel Host or as a guest. It is designed to help promote a safe network among those who've signed up for Travel Hosting. It should be taken seriously.

Giving others the Thumbs Up!
Only vouch for those whom you have met in person and know well enough to believe is trustworthy. You needn't have stayed with this person to vouch for them. Remember! You may not edit or retract your submission.

Please don't vouch for someone you have not met. If Koolred discovers that you have given the thumbs up! to someone you don't know in real life or just met on Koolred, we shall consider this a violation of our Terms of Use.
