Our first meal in Kuching, the famous Kolo Mee. You can find this noodle everywhere in Kuching but our guide brought us here. Her favorite place for Kolo Mee.

I preferred the one they call Hong (means red in Mandarin/ Cantonese) for Kolo Mee added with sliced roasted pork (char siew) oil. The normal Kolo Mee is quite salty. The noodles are chewy and springy. I like it a lot!

The drink we ordered is Teh C. It's a tea-sweetened milk-wheatgrass layered drink. How to drink? Sip from the bottom to top or vice versa. i preferred to sip from top till bottom. =)
Date of visit: June 2009
I would recommend this restaurant to:
Friends, Family with children, Budget travellers

You're supposed to stir the layered drink and mix everything up. Not sip layer by layer.
