All entries submitted will remain on www.koolred.com even after the expiry of the Contest. No requests for removal of the entries will be entertained.

By entering this contest, you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions. Any violation to these terms may result in disqualification. All decisions of the Organizer regarding this Contest are final and binding in all respects.

1. CONTEST PERIOD. The Hotel Review contest [“Contest”] is organised by Koolred Sdn Bhd [“Organizer”]. The Contest commences from: 10:00 (GMT+8) 1 December 2011 and ends at 17:00 (GMT+8) on 29 December 2011 [“Contest Period”]. Results will be announced on 10 January 2012.
2. ELIGIBILITY.. The Contest is open to all members of Koolred [“Participants”] from all countries who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry except directors, members and employees of Koolred Sdn Bhd, Palm Garden Hotel, Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur, Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotels and Resorts and its immediate family members.
3. CONTEST MECHANISM.To qualify for the Contest, Participants will have to do the following:
   
   1. Be a registered member of Koolred (http://www.koolred.com)
   2. Members write a hotel review in the Where to stay category including at least one (1) photo highlighting the hotel which they have stayed in.
   3. The most interesting hotel review as solely determined by our panel of judges will be chosen as the winners.
   All entries submitted shall become the sole property of the Organizer and the Participants agree to allow the Organizer to edit, revise, use, publish and/or display any entries/material/information submitted by the Participants in any manner without prior notice. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Organizer.
   
   Submitted entries are for public viewing. Any member of Koolred will be able to comment on or rate the submitted review.
4. CONTEST DEADLINE. 17:00 (GMT+8) on 29 December 2011. The Organizer reserves the right to extend the deadline of the Contest if it deems fit to do so.
5. DISQUALIFICATION. Only complete entries and Participants which fulfill all the terms and conditions of the Contest shall be eligible to enter the Contest. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entries without prior notice for any reason whatsoever.
   
   Reasons for disqualifying Contest entries include without limitation to the following:
   1. Incomplete or illegible entries;
   2. Entries without at least one (1) photo;
   3. Entries not in any way relevant to the contest mechanism posed by the Organizer;
   4. Entries containing links to external third-party sites which has no significant value to the Contest;
   5. Entries which defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
   6. Entries which are sexually explicit, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic, obscene or offensive;
   7. Entries which promote the consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) or a particular political agenda.
   
   
   The Organizer reserves the right to remove any entries posted on http://www.koolred.com for any reason without prior notice to the Participants.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION.Winning entries will be selected based on the following criteria:
   • 40% - Content: Relevance to contest theme
   • 40% - Creativity & Originality
   • 20% - Number of “Kool” votes a review receives
   
   The results will be announced on 10 January 2012. The winners for the Contest will be contacted after the Contest Period, at any time and via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the Organizer. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within five (5) days from the date the Organizer first tries to notify him/her, and/or the prize or prize notification is returned as undelivered, the Organizer reserves the right to award the prize to another winner without further notice.
   
   The Organizer may also consider how dormant or active the Participant is on Koolred and the number of times his/her entry was shared on Facebook and Twitter using the respective Facebook and Twitter ‘Share’ links visible on top / bottom of each entry.
7. PRIZES.. There will be seven (7) prizes. The winners will receive the following:

   All prizes DO NOT INCLUDE flight tickets or any other form of transportation to the hotel location, additional hotel charges and other costs of personal nature incurred by the winner(s) and/or their guest(s) in connection with their use of the prizes and the winner(s) shall be solely responsible for any payment of the same which are payable in connection with their use of the prizes. All guest(s) shall be 18 years of age and above. Please note that the prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective hotel location and the Organizer and the winner(s) shall comply with the same accordingly. The booking period in relation to the prizes may be subjected to certain restrictions including without limitation blackout dates.
   
   Please note that the travelling period may be subjected to certain restrictions for use including without limitation blackout dates.
8. PRIZE DELIVERY. . In the event that a prize or prize certificate is to be mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and in the event thereof, the winner will assume the risk of its loss during the delivery process. The Organizer will not be responsible for the safe arrival of the prize or prize certificate.
9. NO PRIZE TRANSFER OR SUBSTITUTION. The prizes are not exchangeable and/or transferable or redeemable for cash. Any portion of the prize that is not used is forfeited. No substitutions for prizes are allowed unless made by the Organizer, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Organizer’s sole discretion.
10. CONSENT AND RELEASE. By entering the Contest, each participant releases and discharges the Organizer, and any other party associated with the development or administration of the Contest, their parents, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and each of their respective directors, members, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability whatsoever in connection with this Contest, including without limitation legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demands or actions of any kind (including without limitation personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction or property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light) (collectively, 'Claims').
    
    The Organizer reserves its rights to publish or display materials or information, including but not limited to the names and photographs of all Participants for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. The Organizer further reserves its right to use any personal data of Participants in any manner and/or for any purpose it deems fit and participant is deemed to consent to such use with no monetary payment.
    
    The Organizer reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest with or without any prior notice and reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organizer shall not entitle the Participant to any claim or compensation against the Organizer for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
    
    The terms and conditions herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Contest. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail at all times.
    
    The Organizer reserves its right to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions and/or substitute or replace the gifts or any part thereof from time to time without any prior notice.
    
    By participating in the Contest, it is deemed that the participant agrees to be bound by the terms and subject to the conditions herein set out upon submission of entry. The decisions of the Organizer in relation to every aspect of the Contest including but not limited to the type of prize and winner shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstance and no complaint from any participants will be entertained.
11. INDEMNITY. By entering into the Contest, each Participant agrees to hold harmless, defend and fully indemnify the Organizer from and against all losses, damages, expenses and all third party actions, proceedings, claims, demands, costs (including without prejudice to the generality of this provision, the legal cost of each other), awards and damages arising as a result of the Participant’s entry to the Contest.
