Vesak (also knowns as Vesākha or Wesak) Day falls on May 28 this year - that's tomorrow. It is an annual traditional Buddhist holiday to observed the birth, enlightenment and passing of Gautama Buddha.

This holiday is observed around Asia where Buddhist devotees will pray at the temples, meditate, paying homage to Buddha and partake in vegetarian food. It is also a time to make special effort to bring joy and happiness to the unfortunate.

For this spiritual celebration, the Koolred Team wishes for peace and happiness to all wherever you are. Happy holidays and enjoy the long weekend.

This Sunday, May 9, is Mother's Day. The Koolred Team wishes all mummies out there, whether you're on Koolred (which we hoped you are or will be soon) or somewhere close, Happy Mother's Day!

And to all children (and husbands!) out there, don't forget to do something special for this important woman in your life. Lest you forget, today is Friday and this probably serves you as a reminder to get going with the planning for this Sunday.
