Have you sent a Koolgift lately?

Well, if you haven't been to the Koolgifts page recently, then we suggest that you go check it out now and send a virtual gift to your friends. Giving is just as good as receiving.

We have 48 Koolgifts at the moment and we hope to add a whole lot more this year. We are working on a few now and would like your suggestions for more. We are looking for something more localised. Koolgift ideas that signifies your country or culture. Got any ideas?

It's almost two months since we've gone Beta and we're so glad to see so many Redsters in here enjoying their time on Koolred and exploring the fun features we have.

Putting up a profile photo of yourself can do wonders in helping you make new friends. We're sure you can relate to that. Think about it: how can you befriend someone whose profile photo looks like this:

That's a default avatar (or profile photo) we've set on your page when you sign up. We are very sure none of you looks like this for real. This is why we encourage members to change their profile photo to one that reflects how they actually looked like in real life. A nice headshot would be great.

Here's some sample profile photos as demonstrated by our members:

So. How do you change the default avatar to your profile photo?

It's easy. Simply go to your Me page and click on My Profile on the sidebar. The first thing you'll see on My Profile is this:

Click on 'Change avatar', and you'll find yourself on this page:

Just follow the instructions and click 'Upload'.

Easy.

So if you haven't changed your profile photo, it's time to do it now.
