PC Fair - the most famous fair for IT related products in Malaysia is back again for 2011. I'm sure there will be another fair later on in the year let's leave that for later.
As usual I went to the fair. Not to buy anything although I am working in the IT line but to take some pictures. Pictures of lovely brand ambassadors to be exact.
Call me a pervert if you want to but I go to the fair so that I can get some practice in photography. Most times I am either busy at work or busy at home with the kids and since I don't like to shell out money to hire models for shoots, I make do with fairs like this. Haha.
Besides, the ladies are already there and they know that they are not hired for their product knowledge so what's wrong with giving them some attention, right?
On with the pics!
This is one of my favourite shots taken at the fair. I like how sweet she looks in this portrait. Oh and by the way, she's representing Kaspersky anti-virus software.
One of the Intel-PC Guru promoters. That beautiful side lighting effect is there because she is standing beside these huge ceiling to floor glass panel windows outside of the right side of the frame. Yes, that's using the sunlight to help with your lighting. See the catch lights in her eyes? That's from the bounce card attached to my flash.
Above: A promoter gal for an online game. I'm not much of a fan for online games but FYI, her blouse reads 'Garena'. Don't make this mistake. The picture would be better if I have included the word. I was not paying much attention at the time.
Above and below : Agnes Lim promoting the Sensonic GPS unit. I was testing how close I could get using an 85mm lens.
Apparently you can get very close without getting too close with an 85mm lens as the picture below shows.
And here I got too close until I cannot see any brand names and I forgot which brands these girls were promoting!
Above and below: Sweet Elise promoting for Epson.
Another online game promoter. I don't know what game she was promoting because I can't read Chinese! I thought she looked cute and would look even cuter if she was dressed in a kimono.
Below : An Avira anti-virus promoter gal. This is not the first time I have seen her in the fair and not the first time she was promoting Avira.
Here she is with her partner in crime, who is also not new in promoting Avira anti-virus at the fair. They were in a playful mood when I got there. They were being surrounded by a horde of photographers even before I got there so I'm not the only one taking pics at the fair.
Another promoter who was very accommodating with poses for us guys with cameras. She's promoting Garmin GPS units.
Well, that's it for this time. If there's any other fairs that has free entrance and lovely promoter ladies present, I'll try to attend and get some pictures to post here!
