Ever imagine to travel around the world in one day? Well, you can do it by visiting EPCOT in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. Abbreviation of Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, EPCOT gives you the idea of how the world looks like, including the future world. It's devided in two main area, The Future World and World Showcase.
The first area you will meet once you enter the main gate is The Future World. Here you can find few pavillions that related with what future looks like in the imagination of Walt Disney. Some of the pavillions are Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, Test Track, The Land and Imagination!. In each pavillion you can also find few cool attractions that you must try, such as Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Living with The Land, Soarin, Captain EO starring Michael Jackson and Honey, I Shrunk The Audience.
Next area is World Showcase. This is where the journey around the world starts. Once you enter this area, the first pavillion you'll find is Mexico Pavillion. Inside this pavillion you can find the main attraction - a relaxing boat ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros.
Next pavillion is Norway Pavillion. Here you can find the exhibition namedVikings: Conquerors of the Seas that taken place in a building which replicate the Stave Church. You can also find an attraction called Maelstrom where you can ridea troll-tormented Viking ship to see modern-day to historic Norway. Beware! You may get wet.
After seeing Norway, you will enter China Pavillion. Here you can really feel like you're in China. I, personally, love this pavillion much, since I've never been to China *smirk*. You can find the replica of Temple of Heaven with reflecting ponds in front of it and The House of the Whispering Willows gallery exhibit. The restaurant also gives you the authentic Chinese food and architecture. Oh, and if you are lucky, you will see Mulan hanging around the place.
Step away from China and we enter Germany where you can finda charming cobblestone plaza designed after a 16th-century German town. A variety of shops, a clock tower and a fountain with a statue of St. George slaying a dragon lie within the castle walls. One thing that interesting me more is the small replica of German village where you can see small train passing through the village. Coolio! Too bad I didnt find Snow White and her dwarfs strolling around the place.
Buon giorno! Italy is the country you can find next.Find true attention to detail in the bridges, gondolas, colorful barber poles, the Neptune fountain in the central Plaza del Teatro and a stunning 83-foot version of the bell tower, Campanile of St. Mark's Square. And don't forget to buy the Venetian Mask in the shop there.
Dude! We're going to United States now. The Colonial-style building reflects the combination ofIndependence Hall, Boston's Old State House, Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg. You can find The American Adventure that combines music, film and audio-animatronics.You can also find a small exhibition inside and some famous paintings and quoattions from famous American figures.
Konichiwa! This Japan Pavillion is my other best favorite pavillion. I've been wanting to go to Japan but still got no chance. At least, through this pavillion, I can feed my hunger towards this country.Walk through a stunning torii gate and enter a serene world of rock gardens, koi ponds and streams, and a handsome blue-roofed pagoda. For the shopping enthusiast, the Mitsukoshi Department Store is the place to find authentic Japanese apparel, toys, Bonsai trees, Samurai swords and so much more.
Next neighbour of Japan is Morocco Pavillion. The Morocco Pavilion has 2 fascinating sections: the Ville Nouvelle (new city) and the Medina (old city). At Restaurant Marrakesh you can find authentic Moroccan food such as roast lamb, Couscous and Harira Soup. You can also find shops that sellRabat carpets, woven belts, leather sandals, fabulous fezzes, beautiful brass pots and planters, and much more.Too bad there's no Alladin and Jasmine for me on that day.
Bonjour, madame! France is the next destination. For you who love French cuisine, better try to eat in this pavillion, in its two famous restaurants - Bistro de Paris and Les Chefs de France. You can take a stunning panoramic journey through France during the motion picture in Impressions de France. Dont forget to see the small replica of the famous Eiffel Tower.
The Beatles ready to rock on. Next country on the list is United Kingdom. Here you can stroll down cobble-stone streets among old-world British architecture and gardens. You can also find the authentic red telephone booth (which I really want to see). Don't forget to visit The Toy Soldier to find cute toys and things.
Last country to visit is Canada.Step into the peaceful Canadian landscape with magnificent gardens, majestic architecture and a canyon reminiscent of the Canadian Rockies. A 30-foot rushing waterfall offers a refreshing spray and carved totem poles add to the ambiance of this amazing place.
EPCOT offers you a place where you can see more about the world. One thing that really makes EPCOT good, in my opinion, is because it can fit the adult. The adult can enjoy this place and it can be the place to relax and enjoy the scenery. So make sure you visit EPCOT when you are around Orlando, FL. You won't regret.
